The DELO-DOT RE retraction valve bridges the gap between direct cartridge dispensing and volumetric or jet dispensing systems. The valve ensures precise and reproducible results while remaining bubble-free and without dripping.
The DELO-DOT RE can be reliably controlled either by the DELOMAT 101 or a quick-acting valve with an upstream compressed air regulator.
Drip-free dispensing for minimum adhesive quantities
The DELO-DOT RE pneumatic retraction valve strikes the balance between the repeatability and control of high-quality volumetric or jetting systems and the simple, direct dispensing of cartridges. After dispensing, the needle retracts to reverse the adhesive flow. The resulting vacuum effect prevents dripping.
The valve dispenses adhesives bubble-free, at volumes as low as 0.09 µl with a standard deviation of less than 3%. This almost corresponds to the dosing consistency of high-quality jet valves. Therefore, it is capable of dispensing at significantly lower quantities than direct cartridge dispensing.
Thanks to its small size and weight of just over 50 grams, DELO-DOT RE can be easily integrated into almost any production line. Its actuator and fluid system are separate, so that the valve does not have to be removed from the system when changing. In addition, the fluidics can be changed without tools, making assembly and disassembly easy.
The retraction valve is ideal for applications in semiconductor and camera production due to its described properties.
