VINFAST ANNOUNCES THE FIRST ELECTRIC BUS
VinFast's electric bus model will operate in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc with the number of 150-200 vehicles in the first phase.
On October 20, Vingroup announced that it had successfully tested the first electric bus (VinBus) in the VinFast factory campus (Hai Phong). Vehicles equipped with a battery of 281.9 kWh, fully charged in 2 hours by a 150 kW charging station. A full charge can travel a total distance of 220-260 km.
VinBus will focus on operating in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc with an expected number of 150-200 vehicles in the first phase. Operating time from 5 hours to 22 hours daily, average 10-20 minutes per ride.
Passengers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City enjoy preferential fares according to the city's subsidy policy for those who use public transport, an average of 3,000-10,000 VND / trip, monthly tickets 50,000-200,000 VND. Tickets are free for those with special circumstances.
In addition to electric motor technology, the car has many other notable features, such as the driver behavior control system, warning of unsafe risks, such as driver distraction, drowsiness, fatigue. , ... In the car there is an electronic board informing the stop, free wifi. The company is testing the electronic ticket system, and the VinBus app works with VinID to support bus network information.
In addition, VinBus is also equipped with a USB charging port, security camera, front dash cam, reverse warning camera, CCTV on the right when stopping. When in operation, this will be the first electric bus model widely operating in Vietnam.
