In May 2025, HUST Vietnam's engineering team repaired the COFOMEGRA SOLARBOX 1500E aging test chamber for a customer at Amata Industrial Park, Dong Nai. This is a specialized equipment branch from Italy, widely used in testing the durability of materials under the impact of artificial sunlight.
SOLARBOX 1500E is a desktop aging test chamber that uses a 1500W xenon lamp, accurately simulating sunlight to test the aging resistance of materials. The device is notable for:
- UV radiation sensor to monitor and adjust the exposure level during the test.
- Automatic control system, compensating for the deterioration of the bulb and filter.
- Allows customization of test conditions in accordance with many international standards.
After inspection, HUST Vietnam discovered that the ignition system was faulty, causing the bulb to not work. We provide the following steps:
