Periodic calibration of GNR emission optical spectrometer
In the last days of 2024, HUST VIETNAM conducted annual periodic calibration of emission optical spectrometer for analyzing metal and alloy composition for customers in Long An, Can Tho and Binh Phuoc.
A spectrometer is an important device in analyzing metals and alloys. This device is capable of analyzing many elements on magnetic and non-magnetic backgrounds such as: Fe, Ni, Co, Ti, Al, Cu, Zn, Pb, Sn, Mg.
Currently, many of our customers are using emission spectrometers such as S1 Minilab 150 and S5 Solaris CCD Plus to analyze elemental composition in steel. However, many customers encounter the situation of unstable analyzers or unsatisfactory accuracy.
Causes of unstable spectrometers
Through a detailed inspection, HUST Vietnam has identified the main causes as follows:
- The spectrometer operates continuously for a long time without stopping.
- The equipment operation and cleaning process has not been properly followed.
- The equipment preservation method is not guaranteed, leading to deviations in system parameters.
The importance of regular spectrometer maintenance
To ensure that the spectrometer operates accurately and stably, regular maintenance, servicing, and calibration are mandatory. This not only helps to limit damage and reduce repair costs, but also increases accuracy, providing reliable analysis results.
In particular, for export enterprises, ensuring that the metal components meet international standards is very important. Small errors in the analysis results can cause the shipment to be rejected, causing great financial and reputational damage.
Within 2-3 days of hard work, HUST Vietnam's team of experts completed the maintenance, calibration and adjustment of system parameters, helping the spectrometer return to its best condition. This ensures the equipment operates effectively, promptly serving the production requirements of customers.
Let HUST Vietnam accompany your business, ensure the quality of analytical equipment, improve production efficiency and maintain prestige in the fiercely competitive market.
