Maintenance of an IPX water resistance test chamber in Ho Chi Minh
In November 2025, HUST Vietnam carried out maintenance of an IPX water ingress test chamber – Model AQUA-1000-IXX, manufactured by CM Envirosystems (India), at the Saigon Hi-Tech Park, Ho Chi Minh City.
Equipment condition:
After receiving the chamber from the customer, the technical team recorded the following issues:
Reduced water pump flow rate
Door gasket showed signs of aging, affecting sealing performance
Water in the tank contained a large amount of sediment and required cleaning
The spray nozzle system operated unevenly; several nozzles were clogged by sediment
Results:
After maintenance, the rain spray test chamber operated more stably and fully met the requirements of IPX1 and IPX2 water ingress protection testing standards.
