Maintenance and Calibration of Spectrometer in Quang Ninh
In mid-December, HUST Vietnam conducted maintenance and calibration of the S3 MiniLab 300 emission optical spectrometer for a customer's materials laboratory in Quang Ninh.
The S3 Minilab 300 emission optical spectrometer is a high-precision metal composition analyzer, therefore regular maintenance plays a crucial role in maintaining the stability of the emission source, detector sensitivity, and electrode lifespan. Maintenance is typically performed in three main groups: cleaning the arc chamber, checking the sample firing system and electrodes, and recalibrating the instrument's intensity.
Performing regular maintenance not only helps stabilize measurement results, reduce errors, and extend component lifespan, but also minimizes downtime in production. This is a necessary step to ensure the instrument always maintains accurate analytical capabilities for steel, aluminum alloys, copper, and other metallic materials.
