Installation Micro VU 3D Measuring Machine
In June 2022, HUST Vietnam's engineers completed the installation, calibration and training 3D Measuring Machine, Model Excel 511 made by Micro VU - USA for customers in Hai Phong.
This is a high-end machine used to measure product geometry, made in the US. Some specifications of Excel 511UC:

- Y axis traveling distance: 510mm
- Z axis traveling distance: 160mm
- Working Weight Capacity: 100kg
- Resolution Encoder Glass scale X, Y, & Z Axis: 0,05µm
- Linear Accuracy, overall Uxy = 2,5 + L/200 µm
- Linear Accuracy, Uz = 2,5 + L/100 µm
- PInspec Software for Windows 10/11
- Programmable Zoom Lens: 12X
