Introduce:
- DELO-GUM is a one-component, solvent-free, heat-resistant base on modified silicone adhesive (RTV-1 Heat Resistant Silicone) used in a wide range of adhesive and sealing applications;
- The heat resistance of DELO-GUM glue is usually from -50 to +180 oC, especially DELO-GUM 3699 glue can withstand heat up to 300 oC;
- DELO-GUM is widely used in bonding metal, plastic, rubber, glass, and many other materials;
- Glue can self-cure when contact with environmental humidity, polyaddition to create polysiloxane bonds, and by-products are oxime, amine, or acetic acid depending on the glue composition;
- All DELO-GUM glues can be stored at room temperature, most of the shelf life committed to the user is at least 12 months (except CR3010 which is 6 months);
- All products meet RoHS standards according to directive 2015/863/EU.
Application:
- Adhesive to many materials such as metal, plastic, glass, need to high adhesion, DELO-GUM 3697 should be used;
- For applications requiring high temperature resistance up to 300 oC, DELO-GUM 3699 is recommended;
- For casting applications, encapsulant electronic components, should choose a low viscosity, more flexible type such as DELO-GUM CR3010, denser, use DELO-GUM SJ3097;
- Sealing large gaps requires a high viscosity, a strong adhesive such as DELO-GUM 3697, if more heat resistance is required, DELO-GUM 3699 is more suitable.
Some applications using DELO-GUM glue:
Bonding the silicone gasket seals of the freezer
Bond the silicone gaskets seals of the freezer with DELO-GUM 3697 adhesive
Requirements and tests for adhesives:
- Good adhesion to silicone;
- Cured glue should be soft and elastic;
- Temperature resistant -40 to +130 °C;
- Airtight;
- Do not damage food and pharmaceutical products.
Additional benefits of DELO adhesive for users:
- No need for surface treatment;
- Single component adhesive and easy to apply directly by hand;
- The properties of silicone sealants and gaskets are similar.
