Calibration, periodic maintanance the OES spectrometer for Kim Thinh Jsc
From January 4 to January 6, 2021, HUST Vietnam carried out maintenance and calibration of the emission spectrometer (model: S1 Minilab) for Kim Thinh JSC in Duc Hoa, Long An.
The OES spectrometer analysis of elemental composition in metals is one of the most important types of equipment for companies specializing in metal manufacturing.
Small flaws can lead to inaccurate alloying components, which can lead to batch returns.
Therefore, annual maintenance of the spectrometer is an extremely necessary service, it not only keeps the analyzer stable and accurate but also increases the life of the manufacturer to save costs.
HUST Vietnam has taken steps to survey, inspect and assess the current status of equipment to be able to perform maintenance and adjustment tasks, including:
- Check all electrical and gas connections
- Clean and change the oil of the waste filter
- Cleaning lenses and optical systems
- Align the electrode and clean the sample firing base
- Calibration of spectrophotometer system parameters
- Instruction Kim Thinh company's staff to clean periodically.
