On January 16 - January 17, 2018, HUST Vietnam carried out repair and calibration of GNR's optical emission spectrometer (model: S5 Solaris CCD Plus) for Vietnam Italy Steel Joint Stock Company - Hai Phong branch (VIS).

VIS is a unit with strengths in the domestically and internationally steel market, providing diverse products in the market to meet the requirements of the highest technical standards in the project, therefore, strict monitoring of input and output steel quality is indispensable. Currently, the factory has invested in two optical emission spectroscopy, including one from GNR - Italy. Used since 2010 with high-frequency operation and intensity, encountering errors is inevitable, especially with such a high-precision device. Viet Y Steel Company has entrusted HUST Vietnam with the repair and calibration of this equipment. As a representative of GNR firm in Vietnam, HUST has been confident and successful in repairing and restoring the spectrophotometer to the best working condition, meeting the production requirements that VIS requires.
